Well, hello there.
I’m Lydia, a Shropshire-based Copywriter who has worked in the creative agency space for over five years and counting. My career began the very same day the COVID-19 lockdown hit, and at the time I was also a third-year student at the University of Worcester, studying Creative & Professional Writing, along with English Literature. It was there I stumbled across this exciting little thing called advertising.
Today, I work with brands such as JLR, Amazon, Lloyds Living, Pro-Formula and more for a Birmingham-based boutique marketing agency.

Good Copy For The Soul
Whether you need B2B or B2C copy, my agency experience means I’m able to write to every brief, client and problem (and also do very well in pub quizzes because of this).
Need social content to stop scrollers? On it. Brochures to enthral those C-Suite suits? No problemo. New brand guidelines with a strapping tone of voice? Absolutely.
SEO
With training from Yoast, Moz, LinkedIn and industry experts, I’m able to optimise your copy and help it rank amongst the chaos of the World Wide Web.
Say goodbye to clunky keyword stuffing, that’s a big no-no around here.
Thought Leadership & Talks
Looking to bring new insight to your internal comms team, train in AI copywriting, or even inspire the next generation of copywriters? I’m able to tailor masterclasses and workshops based on your individual needs.
Previously, I’ve hosted a masterclass at the University of Worcester, as well as several workshops on AI usage to elevate comms for businesses.
Artificial Intelligence
AI generated copy is here to stay, and we humble copywriters need to keep up with the competition.
The thing is, we’re reaching a new level of consumer fatigue when it comes to AI usage in advertising, and that makes investing in the humans all that more important.
Even so, I’ve made it my mission to learn as much as I can about this little robot companion, including achieving certification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in AI and Copywriting, regularly attend copy-related AI talked by experts and even studied the legal implications of AI use through Lund University.
Please note I will only use AI tools when agreed with you beforehand.

Fancy working together?
I like to think of myself as the third magpie. Stay with me here…
The first one you see is bad luck. You’re panicking wondering when it’s going to hit. Then, you spot a second, and you’re wondering if it cancels out the bad luck from the first feathered foe or gives you double the despair.
Then there’s the third. This one, somehow, evens out the playing field, and you’re instantly relieved. The day is saved. Your luck-o-meter is back to neutral.
Like the third magpie, that’s how good copy makes you feel.
